Platytergius was a Ichthyosaur from Australia. But its skeleton was found also in Russia, United States of America, Coloumbia and Western Europe. Like all Ichthyosaur they gave live birth in the water. They ate mostly fish, squid and ammonite. They are streamed lined so it made them fast swimmers. There young would hide in the coral reefs while they are young. Platyergius needs to have air, but it is unable to live on the land.
