Devonian Period

The Devonian is best known as the age of the fish. Fishes where the dominate species that was around. The fish where broken into several groups of animals a ancient species known as bone fish appeared this group of hold the famous Dunkleosteus. But this age is more famous for the evolution of fish to amphibians. This age holds a very terrifying extinction event when a super volcano from deep within the earth erupts killing many of the marine environment. With out the evolution of fish to land based animals life would be wiped out. But the land was not bare, small arthropods where living on land early plants have taken over the land and pumping lots of oxygen in to atmosphere.
